Angela is a video and audio producer with three years training and experience at ITN and the BBC. She uses a Sony Z1 camera and edits on Final Cut Pro, Quantel and Avid. She made her first short film in 2006, called Girl Geek Dinner, about women who love technology. In the same year it was shown at a young filmmakers screening in South London. Since then, she has produced, shot and edited almost a hundred news items as a pioneering video journalist for BBC Television News in London. In 2006 Angela helped produce Channel 4's 'Morning Report' podcast, and she has also reported for BBC Radio 4 and the World Service.

Angela is committed to supporting people create their own media. She was a volunteer in the BBC HOME Project, teaching young Londoners from hard-to-reach backgrounds to produce their own short films, and she regularly gives talks and advice to journalists and filmmakers.
